In reply to Phosphatidyl serine anyone ??, posted by linkadge on January 20, 2005, at 16:26:36
I used it for a couple of months, at 200 mg daily. At the time I added it, I was taking a number of other vitamins, minerals and supplements. I believe there was a small, but somewhat noticeable improvement, but not enough to justify the cost (it is quite expensive). I have found Enada NADA much better for reducing apathy and increasing energy and motivation (although, since having surgery a few weeks ago, I am needing something stronger).

I have---trying to improve and fix my brain after the alcohol abuse. But I, too took it with a ton of other supplements--hard to say what helped (great scientific approach I have--change everything at once!!)
I take a mega vitamin and everything imaginable supplement called NSI Synergy Max. You can find it on the vitacost website http://www.vitacost.com/store/products/ProductSearch.cfm?SearchText=synergy+max&SearchBy=PN&ss=1I found these products great--cost less than others but they are so high quality. (maybe they ship international??) Not to put in a plug for them, but I have been truly happy and figure others may want to know of a cheap source of good stuff..... It has lots-phosphatydilserine, coenzyme q10, alpha lipoic acid, licopene etc etc.
Of course some of these things would be better taken alone or at a different time, but I don't have the money to buy things separately, the patience to set up a crazy day-long supplement regimen, and no place to put 100 separate bottes of things.
I actually take 1/2 the daily dose--I am small, and even more important I can't afford $200.00 for supplements. I then scramble to find $100.00 a month instead.
This is the end of the thread.
