Between SJW and Tryptophan (and any other non-pharmaceutical treatment), what would you recommend for a very treatment-resistant depression?

SAMe has been shown equivilant to imipramine for severe depression.
1600mg/day. Might be a little costly.

You might also want to look at the following thread about Enada NADH, and perhaps consider it as an adjunct. I just started using it, and am working up to a therapeutic dose, but even at 5 mg (third day of use), I have noticed an increase in energy and a more positive outlook. I also recently added Vitex (for PMS) and DMAE (for concentration and focus).
