For the last five years or so, I periodically feel--usually during hypomanias rather than depressions--that my brain is swelling and pushing against my cranium. The result is that I experience terrible pain around my eye cavities, cheekbones, under my ears and particularly on the back of my head where my skull ends and neck begins. I have been treating it with chiropractics although I recently saw a chiropracter who is also an acupuncutist. He heated the needles, which provided great relief. I just wonder how many people have experienced this symptom and if anyone knows what causes it. I've never read about it anywhere.
This is the end of the thread.
