Anyone know about any anxiety caused by dust allergies?
I'm sure it effects me. Perhaps its just feeling horrible or helpless that increases anxiety. Perhaps its from waking up from too much dust in the blanket too close to my face causing me problems. Its been months, so I suppose washing my bed stuff and maybe even vaccuuming might be a good idea.
If there was only a proper mask I could sleep with to give me nothing but fresh air, I'd probably sleep better, and be healthier. I'd wear it all day, and say screw the Claritin D, which is a mighty fine product, but alas, nothing stops all my allergies.
PS: For those of you who actually shower more than once a month and wash your bed sheets and blanket more than once a year, your clean freaks with some sort of obsessive behavior, so don't critize me for my life style. ;) Thats a joke for those of you who don't tilt your head to the side and notice the ;) is a winking smiley face.

Perhaps it has something to do with breathing.
I don't get much firm support with my waterbed. Perhaps if I slept on a flat surface, the organs would be lined up properly and breathing would be easier. I find taking deep breaths does help with anxiety.

You might want to try sleeping somewhere other than in your vacuum cleaner too! ;-)

Get an air purifier, but get a good one. Don't buy that heavily advertised one from Sharper Image. Consumer Reports rated it the worst. Check out Consumer Reports for their reviews on air purifiers and invest in a good one. It's well worth it.

Dust mites are the real problem for me.
Getting allergy proof covers for pillow & mattress helped a lot.

Hi they are currently doing research on histamine and emotional issues like anxiety and others. I am HIGHLY allergic to dust mites and cats and have cats and lol mite...but I use a HEPA filter in my bedroom..I have others too but the filters cost a lot so right now I use the one filter...and I have the anti dust mite covers on my box springs and also the matress...you ARE :) suppose to not have much fabric in your house and I got rid of all carpeting ..also got a leather couch. If you have pets they say dont let them sleep in the bedroom..ha as if mine would allow that but um they carry more dust mites in their fur....so HEPA FILTER AND anti dust mite bedding...wood or tile floors and windows closed...good luck

My parents won't let me rip up the carpet in the house I live in now. Its a small one built next doors to theirs for my grandmother when she was still alive.
So I'm stuck with carpenting.
I think most problems are from my blanket though.
I think having some sort of breathing mask to wear all day would be much more effective. And pure oxygen helps relax people doesn't it?
There have a shot that gets rid of all allergies for a few months, but I'm not sure if it has side effects.

Hi...well silly question but have you asked your parents in light of your allergies? IF you think its the blanket buy a new one and wash it often maybe a quilt..no down at all down is bad for us...Also I THINK? you can get too much oxygen in the blood so lol no 24/7 mask but do get a Hepa Filter and bug mom and dad on a wood floor..Good luck
