Hey, ths is finelinebob or Bob (not Dr.) from the <2000 days. I tried to reset my password but it looks like the old email address I had associated with it is no longer in use by me. Should I just keep using this one, or can I get access to my old moniker?

I remember you, too, and SLS and sleepy and a number of folks I've seen just rummaging thru the posts. If I can't get my old name back, maybe I can get access to the 2000 forum under this new name....
Glad to hear from you, Phillipa!

Welcome back finelinebob! I remember you. I'd suggest you email bob directly and ask. Otherwise it could be awhile before your post is seen. The boards aren't read continuously these days.

Well, I just tried three times to send a message to Dr. B and the admins, and all three attempts got rejected.
Hopefully they will see this thread. If they can't give me back my old name, maybe they can just transfer permission for posting on the 2000 forum from finelinebob to this name.

Were you using Babblemail or clicking on Notify the Administrators at the end of a post? Being within PB those won't work if your password, etc. are incorrect.
janed meant to actually email Dr. Bob at
bob@dr-bob.org (It's at the bottom of each page next to his little pic). His email works. He rarely visits here any more and Racer is the only deputy. Only see her respond to some notifications about incivility or moving threads and based on my past experience, she can't help you with this issue.I think email is the only thing that might get seen any time soon.
Babble is a very different place these days. But I remember you,too :-)

Ah, I'll send the good doctor a note then. And they STILL let Racer deputize around here?! Pshaw! :p
Good to see you too, 10der!
This is the end of the thread.
