EVERYONE - Moratorium on Administration posting.

It's just a thought.

The Administration board seems to provide an ideal environment for the evolution of anger and hostility between individuals and issues. People become adversaries. I know I do.

I would like to suggest a moratorium on posting on the Psycho-Babble Administration board for two weeks. Dr. Bob is not present to participate in the administration of this website, so let's take advantage of it. Let's do better than Dr. Bob. We have an opportunity to demonstrate to him that there are methods of moderation that don't require stoicism with a focus on punishment. There are other things to focus on.

Please remain a participant on Psycho-Babble. Try to use the Social board for some of the social functions that the Administration board had been serving. The education and support are no more important to many of us than the opportunity to interact with other human beings. Take a peak at the boards devoted to therapeutics. There might be something important that you can contribute to help someone attain health and peace. Each of us has something to offer that no other individual can.

Please think about it.

I strongly second Scott's suggestion. We can handle this situation by turning attention to more constructivce and-- dare I say it-- supportive interactions on Babble

Let's not get drawn into responding to posters who seem to have issues with the board, and who have, I notice, all cropped up in the last few days.

It doesn't matter what or why these posts are written-- what matters is not letting this place--and our individual states of mind-- be disrupted by them.
