Posted by Deneb on April 27, 2010, at 18:53:28

Dr. Bob, I love you and you are a good person. I know you mean well. I like the rules here.

You're a good person because you do the right things, are fair, care about people, are hardworking, are considerate, volunteer your time, and other things too numerous to list. :-)

of being treated with respect, like every other person is.

And I must say that nothing gets me over my irritation with you like reading Admin sometimes.

FWIW, I don't think you're as bad as Hitler. Nor Mussolini even.

Dinah,
You wrote,[...as bad...]
I am unsure as to what you are wanting to mean by that. If you could post answers to the following then I could have the opportunity to respond accordingly.
A. In {as bad}
1. Where in a scale from 1 to 100, where 100 is the {most bad}, could your {as bad} be?
2. In your citations of the people that you use in your statement in question here, which of the two persons is in your thinking is the {greater bad}.
3. If one is {more bad} than the other, on a scale of 1 to 100, in your thinking how many points could separate the one person that is not {as bad} as the other which is the {more bad}?
4. other questions if the above are answerd
Lou

One gets back what they give out.

Hmm. So is this about posters (like me) who have posted on here recently? How is that not suppose to make anyone feel put down?

Any incivility according to Bob was direct towards Bob himself and they way he handles his this site, not among posters.

> FWIW, I don't think you're as bad as Hitler. Nor Mussolini even.

No, Bob isn't as bad as Hitler or Mussolini as in killing people. But the way he enforces HIS ideas on HIS website, giving out punishments for those who don't conform to HIS standards is rather oppressive LIKE Hitler.

So do you think saying this according to Bob's standards of being civil will not be perceived by others in the real world as a put down to the recent posters?

Walking the fine line of careful veiled wording to get in your digs at others might not get you blocked here, but it is far from being innocent.

In fact I would trust someone who was forthright in what they say than someone who uses veiled insults directed at others. What is really disturbing is if you apply Bob's rules to the real world. In the real world, an insult or put down is still that, whether or not you whisper it, hiding being a telephone pole.

Sorry Dinah, but you putdowns are still putdowns in the real world.

Dinah,
I am withdrawing my request to you for answers to the questions. After reading some posts in parallel threads, I do not need to have a discussion as to my request to you here. My apology...

You took what I said as being directed to you.

While what I said was actually directed to Dr. Bob. That's one reason I put it on Deneb's thread. A positive thread directed to Dr. Bob.

I feel sorry for him sometimes. I know what it feels like to be Administration.

Administration is people too.
