If so, that is completely out of order.
Some time ago a poster started using the name Nikki2. I asked if they would mind changing it as it was ~very~ similar to mine. The poster got upset, and I was told ~I~ would have to live with it. So, this seems to be a complete change policy with no notification of it at all.

Names are important, and this is a sensitive issue. There's been a policy against posting under more than one name at the same time for a long time, and when people do that, I block all but one of them.
