hi crazyt,:)
just wanted to say that i understand exactly how you feel. a few months after i came to babble on admin i experienced the same thing. one particular poster hounding all my threads with questions. it was utterly exhausting and frustrating having to spell *everything* out from point a to z. and this particular poster hardly ever posted to me otherwise, except with a couple not so nice comments on social. the way i see it, if you need everything spelled out all the time, perhaps the discussions are not for you. it is just not polite to bombard ppl like that. i'll leave it at that, in the interest of civility.

i realize that one admin topic/thread can go on forever here. so i will say upfront that i am done with my comments and do not choose to expand any further. i don't have the time or desire to become enmeshed here.

take care,
alesta

I'm with you on that one! Well, the conference is in DC in a couple years, I think. If the parties now happen around the conference, then it will be in our own backyard soon enough. :-)

That...or carpool to Toronto. hahaha!

Who is planning on hanging out with us for fun, but not presenting?

Nikki and Racer? C'mon, I'll be there. GG can't make it- boo.

So as far as I know for presenting

Fallsfall
Auntie Mel
Poet
Deneb (once her posting ban is over & she's able to communicate with us again)

for just hanging out?

About the APA meeting, Dr. Bob, you mentioned a while back that we could attend one of the presentations before ours to get a feel for what they are like.

Can we do that? I would want to do that.

I'm sorry for making light of death or injury. From now on I won't even talk about death or injury.

Thank you for the addendum. That was nice of you to include that. I think it's a great idea to include that part about not taking things personally. Thanks for the crises links.

Dr. Bob,

I'm really sorry about my behaviour while blocked. I'm going to try really really hard to stop them. I'm sorry I'm a little obsessed with you. I think once I meet you in real life and realize you are not as I imagine I won't be obsessed anymore.

I can still go to the Babble Party right? I swear I'll be good. I'm very different in real life. Please don't be afraid of me. I swear I'll be good. I swear I don't and won't stalk you. I'm not *that* obsessed.

I've booked three nights in Toronto.

I look forward to some kind of a head count, so I can bring an appropriate number of butter tarts. No counting calories on this weekend. :-)

Are we still doing that T-shirt thing?

I found this website that offers custom made T-shirts for sale.

We could design a Babble T-shirt together.

Babble T-shirts

The minimum number of T-shirts to order is 10 at $14.74 each.

The prices go lower as you order more.

At 15, it is $11.44 each.

At 20, it is $9.87 each.

Taxes not included, not sure if costs for design elements are included, but that is the price quoted. You would also have to pay for shipping if you're not going to the Babble Party. Shipping is free from CustomInk.

We can set up a system whereby people who want a T-shirt can maybe send their money to Dr. Bob? I suspect people will be more comfortable sending their money and addresses to Dr. Bob rather than to me.

Dr. Bob can pay me back at the Babble Trip.

Is this a good plan?

Now, all we need are people who want to buy the T-shirt. I'll buy one to start.

Correction...

the minimum is not 10

From the site:

Minimums
There is a 6 piece minimum for screenprinted t-shirts.

Most embroidered items have a 12 piece minimum.

We offer the lowest minimums on the Web across the entire product selection.
