No, no apology necessary Nick, let's just forget the whole messy thing okay?

Thanks much.

Auntie Mel?
Are you okay? Oh my, this had nothing remotely to do with you.
And if something you had said upset me, I'd discuss it with you. On the outside it may look b*tchy, but I'll say if I'm offended, but I'd rather be able to be out with it, and possibly clear it up, rather than have someone think I'm stewing.

Have you ever woken up from one of those disgusting hangovers from drinking loads of alcohol - only to say......

"Oh, No...Never...Ever again am I going to put myself through that again..Aarrhhhhhh!!!"

Thats kind a like how I feel after ending a heated debate here on good old administration lol

Oh man, there certainly is a lovely warm relief i'm feeling now this is over. Beautiful :-)

So glad everything has ended well with us Gabbii...
My mood have been pretty sensitive lately as I've been adapting to new medication. I know this is really not relevant at all to anything, but well, maybe its been reflected in my posts. I honestly do think i'm seroiusly losing my mind sometimes with the things I talk about on here, I must of really made myself look like a prick....I honestly feel i do have to say sorry, I shouldn't be making people feel frustrated because of my life situation right now...its not quite right.

This is even more irrevelent lol I can't believe I havent noticed it before...I'm mostly talking to women in Admin right? I honestly do think I have lost the plot...As in - I should not be arguing with women! Bloody hell no wonder i'm single. Seriously I actually forget i'm talking with females i think and then vent my anger out like I was talking to a man. Its not right, for one thing, in real life i'd be competing with the man and chatting up the lady. Now i'm totally confused and on that note on leaving lol

Take care xXx

Gabbi is a fragile blossom, no venting anger on her, you must defer and be delicate at all times.

I hoped not, but I wasn't sure. We seemed to be miscommunicating a bit there on CT's block.

Very relieved.

I didn't think it was touchy, I was worried that you were depressed, when I start becoming depressed I become ultra sensitive and think I'm being rejected everywhere.

I'm not sure where we miscommunicated on CTs block, (which means we must have)
But I can assure you, even if we had, even if we had disagreed, it wouldn't be enough for me to be be angry with you, never mind, for days!!
no no no no no...
I can probably count on one hand the times I've been angry enough at someone here to have it actually carry over into my interaction with them.

Plus I like you Auntie Mel.

Maybe it depends partly on what the reason would be for them to go elsewhere? If the idea is it might be better for them, that's one thing, and it would seem to be their decision. OTOH, if the idea is it might be better for the community, that would be an administrative issue -- and could be uncivil if not expressed carefully.

I think there can be a fine line between speculation and posts that jump to conclusions or could lead others to feel accused, so I think my tolerance is kind of low, too. Thanks,

Ok Gabbi lol

I was on to something though hey, with my amateur detective work I think?...I mean he was actually a blocked poster who was posting, so there was a link there. I know, we were both right!...you was right, he wasn't 'so', I was right he was a blocked poster. I was also wrong he wasn't 'so', but lets keep that our little secret ;-)

I have 2 questions for you Gabbi (of course now we're working together and not disputing together :-))

I thought 'so' was blocked for 6 weeks too, but then I remember dinah brought up some further issues about him then posting straight after the block under that different name of human_rights and so that block was spoke about being increased to 18 weeks or something? I never actually knew the exact length of the block from all those different posts. I asked, firslty Dr Bob said 6 weeks, but then there was talk abiout 18 weeks or something, so i'm a little confused there?

And the final question, who is barosky do you think gabbi? After all what has happened I'd be very curious to know rather look whos recently been blocked for 9 weeks...

Kind regards

Nick

>I agree, that was the implication. It seems you two worked it out?

Seeing as I was the one who wrote the sentance I strongly disagree that there was no implication whatsoever towards gay men at all.

This is because I used the word 'being' instead of 'I am'

The only implication here is that I used the wrong grammer or wording. Speaking and writing English - English can be different from speaking and writing American - English, I'm sure your aware of that. I am English.

The main problem I have with my statement having anything to do with gay men at all, is the fact, that in some ways it has the implication that I am homophobic. This is what I feel towards me anyway, when all this is down to using 'being' instead of 'I am'

Seems abit silly that i've been tripped up on some kind of legal loop hole for the political correct grammer police. Although i've learnt now obviously to use my wording more carefully for the future.

Sorry, that was poorly worded on my part, where I say "political correct grammer police" - as in it has the potential to feel that crushedout is a police officer of this type of policing!...and then in turn to feel put down by me over generlising, or over exadurating.

I apologise to you crushed out as I was thinking out loud and it was not meant to be aimed at you with that wording. I retract that statement.

LOL Its a good indicator my moods are still sensitive - good thing i'm quickly realising that fact and soon will be able to "think" more carefully, before I open my mouth so to speak! Last thing I want to do is start more tension with anyone, more importantly, yourself crushedout.

Warm regards

Nick

Well now, I knew So was not Barosky, call it Women's intuation, but it was clear to me, and I so I said something As for finding out who Barosky was.. I think Columbo, :) there are probably a few more posters who are better at that than I am and will be more than happy to figure with you.

>I'm glad you agree that that was the implication. I'm not really sure that we worked anything out, but that's ok.

Would you like to try and work things out then? The only thing/issue i have is the suggestion that I feel, seeing as you brought up 'gay men' is that I am homophobic in some way?

How about a simple question, with a yes or no answer? Do you think i'm homophobic?

....

If the answer is 'No' Then we have worked things out and all is well my end.

If the answer is 'Yes' Then I would love to know if its civil to be able to call someone homophobic on here. (Especially when I am not)

If there is no comment, than all I can say is I come here with the aim to hopefully resolve issues, not leave them brewing, but then of course everyone is different.

Love for you to be able to answer my question crushedout, after all, peace is what we're aiming for in life right?

Kind regards

Nick
