I don't think it's wise to reply via the web the answers to your questions. I did give you the phone number and address to the restaurant. I'm sure they would be in the best position to help you out.Good Luck! Hopefully it will be a beautiful evening for a short walk from where you exit the train.

Absolutely! Babble wouldn't be Babble without you!
Someone was going to look into setting up a conference call (during Friday dinner?). Could you call and join us that way?

Dear Dr. Bob,
I think the babble-party is a superb idea and it seems you believe in that forum and you want to give compassion even by connecting p-babblers personally. Unfortunately I can not come to chicago this time from Europe. It is so sad.
I do not forget to complete a list for self-help groups in CH. It only requires some time.

Activities will be taking place in the immediate downtown area around Michigan Ave, from Friday din din to Sat. park(s), window shopping or an architectural cruise (or other; Sat. activities are still in negotiations). To get exact details one has to post that they are for sure coming one of the days, then you can join the yahoo group set up to discuss it.
But Mike, I'm sorry to inform you that any male who shows his face on this thread and divulges that he is convenient to the event must then attend. ;-)
(Just kidding peops, I know it will go fine with mostly estrogen too!)

Sorry everyone, I just can't make it. I found out about this too late, and I just don't have enough information on what is going on to make plans, and I am going through some tough issues in therapy right now and it is hard to concentrate on anything else. So I hope you all have a great time, I will miss you all. :)

Can you tell me the Yahoo page name? It's linked to my work address and I won't be able to access it until Tuesday. I can't seem to locate it without knowing it's name. Thanks. Toph

Well poo. We'll miss you. I know about therapy being intense, though. I had to go out of town to a conference at a time when I was all stirred up. It wasn't pretty. Take care of yourself. :)

Maybe it's too last-minute now, but would people be interested in T-shirts?

I told her I'm meeting some people I know from the internet. She's proud that I am not too anxiety ridden to do this. Wait until next Friday morning when I call her having a panic attack. ;)

My therapist encouraged me to go. I was moaning about being too overwhelmed with everything else going on in my life. But I said I *really* wanted to go, and that if I didn't go I knew I would regret it.
He is thrilled that I'm willing to get out of my house. And he now sees you guys as my friends.
I'm really not nervous about this (but I do have safeguards in place, so I can disappear if things get to be too much!). Should I be?????

No fallsfall -
Don't be nervous. I think once we start talking, we won't be able to stop ... and this is a very public restaurant. You can sneak out for a break if you need to.
Looking forward to an interesting weekend. Certainly different than the norm.

I can guarantee talking and eating. Singing? I'm not sure.
Laughing, for sure.
I hope this does become a tradition so that you can join the party someday.
