(((jyl)))
Maybe he meant that he wished people could somehow prevent themselves from posting when drunk. Given that so very many people say they regret some of the posts they made when they were drunk.
I really don't think it would have been a comment about 'drunks'...
... More about people posting posts (that they later come to regret) while drunk.

And to other posters here, I am sure.

jyl, I don't quite understand. Dr. Bob emailed something to you that you found hurtful? Forgive my density. I've not been at my best lately.
But I didn't see anything on board.
Re. the party. I can't go. My husband won't let me, and I'm not sure I could afford it either. I don't think Dr. Bob will think less of me, or of others who can't make it.

I just find it so hard to picture DB calling someone a drunk. Yuck. Shame, shame, shame. For someone who's supposed to understand mental illness, issues, wounded people trying to deal, it just seems so inappropriate. You must've said something really horrible? What was it?

Mark H. filling in for Dr. Bob here:
Please don't jump to conclusions or use language that could lead others to feel accused or put down.
Many thanks,

It was a question.

Sorry if that was in poor taste,
Bob
