Do you have access to stats of how many posts people post per day (on average)???
I would be curious to know what my average might be (though appreciate that quantity and quality aren't terribly related)...

I'm old enough to remember a mangle..my mother used one every sunday..it was a monster.
I try to avoid ironing..the crinkle look is in fashion now anyway.

I found it (googing) - it's actually a very large iron for ironing big flat things.
But it's also probably where the phrase came from.

I'm tolded mangle in Elfen is pronounced man-glee. It means to be happy with oneself, as in, "When they talk about me, I become mangled."

posts/poster that month:
range: 1-242
mean: 23.5
sd: 40.3
median: 9.5
mode: 1
time period: 29.4 days (the month wasn't quite over yet)
posts/day: 87.6
posters posting at least:
weekly (5 posts): 72 (65%)
daily (30 posts): 21 (19%)Bob

Not to be picky but, from what I recall from statistics the mode should be the greatest number of posts on a given day of the month or 242.
Also, why isn't the figure for the number of posts per day (87.6) the same as the mean (23.5)?

I believe the mode is the most frequently occuring number
posts per day I think is referring to something separtate from the mean of the posts per poster in a month.
I think it is the mean of posts in a day?? as opposed to the mean of 'a' posters' posts in a month

You'll note that the standard deviation is greater than the actual mean value. This indicates that lower frequencies of posting are most common. The data exhibit homoskedacity (skewed to one side, the higher frequencies).
