Dr.Bob,
I've had problems using the Google search feature the last week. It goes to an error page. Also, your new process that warns about inadvertent closing of a post/reply activates if I switch between the confirm post/enter post windows, or if I pause and refer to another post while creating a message. I hope that's not how you wanted this to be, as I find it to be a nuisance.
Thanks,
Lar

I'm not sure if this was the problem, but it turns out there are guidelines for this that I didn't know about. I've made some changes now, let's see what happens...

Oops, sorry about that. I've added "go back" and "go forward" buttons that should let you do that without activating the warning, is that better?

But that one's harder, since you could want to refer to another post, or you could be inadvertently proceeding without having submitted your post. Would it be too much of a nuisance (1) to open the post you want to refer to in a new tab or window or (2) just to ignore the warning?

I've made some changes now, let's see what happens...I noticed the change, and used the revamped interface before you posted about it. Many thanks. BTW, I know I've posted on certain topics in the past, but for the life of me, I can't find them again, despite using very finely-crafted keyword searches. Any idea why that might be?

Thanks again,

I hadn't actually tried it, when I posted last. Could you put a "back" button on the confirm post page?

When I need to go back and check something while I posting a message, I hit crtl-n and that opens a new browser window, showing the page you are currently on.. Save having the prospect of what I've already typed being lost!!

There is one, just in the "revise" section, isn't there? Is that too inconvenient?

Thanks for responding so effectively to my concerns.
