Slow down of site

Dr Bob,

Do you think the search functions are slowing
down the site from time to time ? If so, till
you can fix this, how about not using them ?
It seems Google has done a good job of archiving
this site. maybe just allow recient materal to be searched, and then offer a link to google for the older stuff.

Many sites just use google as a search engine for the site as google does such a good job. Cisco is a good example.

No, I think it's putting together pages "on the fly". Using Perl.
