Posting Problem

Posted by Mair on December 6, 2001, at 20:30:30

Occasionally when I post my message doesn't make it to the PSB home but may be one of those listed at the bottom of one of the messages in that same thread. Why does this happen? Perhaps this has been explained before, but if so, I've missed it.

It posts (a new page is created), and it gets listed on other posts in the thread, just not on the main page? Is it the reloading issue?

This is what I'm trying to describe. I don't know if it's a reloading issue. An example appears at: http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/social/20011207/msgs/15345.html

What kind of computer are you using? And what kind of browser?

OK, does that page not show up like it should?

If it's a reloading issue, it's just a problem with what shows up for you.

I think I might understand Mair!!! Its happened to me before... you try to start a new thread but it adds it self to an old one...

What i found was, I was using the "post a message" box in the right hand frame, instead of the one in the left hand frame. if you make sure you only use the one in the left hand frame you should be OK!!

Sorry, it wasn't a reloading issue, it was me! Nikki finally got me to see. It's not that your post didn't show up on the main page, it's that it showed up as part of an old thread instead of starting a new one? That was because I thought you meant to post it there and moved it. Sorry if that wasn't what you wanted!
