For some reason, the past few times I have been here, it is hard to read the pages because of a funky effect. It looks like the background hasn't fully loaded, coming out a darker color and with more texture. It doesn't go away when I hit the refresh button (which has worked in the past). Any ideas?

Try setting your screen settings to a higher or lower resolution and see if that helps.
