It's amazing, some guy does a test, other people just start responding. We're so bored, we're, like, working up to weather chat.
Cam and Greg, something tells me you fellers ain't got both oars in the water. On a scale of 1-10, with one being a normal and ten being a raving lunatic, just where would you boys rate yourself?

The above should be read in the voice of Festus from Gunsmoke.

Define normal.

I thought I smelled something :)

I'm an unrateable 11. Beyond the point of no return, or so Shar says.

I can't help it. I smoke when I think.

We can all communicate and finish each others sentences, except for Cam's, and he can't do that.
I personally know Shar and trust me, she's not a good barometer to measure mental illness. But you must keep in mind that that's my opinion. She will tell you the TRUTH! She's told me many times that I don't know my ass from a hole in the ground. Actually Shar's right on many things.
I need to think some more. Don't leave me here.

Hi guys--

Thanks for the query, Greg. I'd say that I've got one oar in the water and am rowing in circles. My problem posting is with the "Confirm" button; it depresses and locks--erasing the page and requiring a Ctrl-Alt-Del restart. I'm using IE 5.5 on Win 98, and I've done *everything* (short of loading Netscape just to post on Babble). Any ideas/suggestions or commiserations gratefully accepted.

The weirdest thing is that I've been able to post 2 one-liners here. Any post with any length or content disappears into the ethernet; perhaps, the Wizard of Cyberspace is trying to tell me something.

Anyway, this is way more than 1 line; wonder if *it* will post. I've lost at least 4 posts to you, Cam, several to Scott, lost count of how many total.

Not sure I'm glad that severe frustration isn't terminal (yet)---medlib

P.S. Just in case this one makes it online--heartiest congrats on your new job, Cam.

Hey Med,

Serious question, and I'm not just blowin' bubbles here... Is your Win 98 a full version or an upgrade? The upgrade doesn't play well at all with IE 5.5. Lots of probs with java scripting and the like.

You might want to check Microsoft's site, I think they have a patch for it, or you could upgrade to Win 2000. Netscape is an option too. I did and it's been seamless with all the browsers. I have @home cable service and it uses the Excite browser.

You know Cam is going to say something about Macs now...

God, you guys! You gotta be 'don't ask, don't tell' with me. If you don't wanna know, don't ask! I rarely volunteer crushing blows.

Now, neither one of you is irredeemable, you know; it just depends on how many drugs you can squeeze into one cocktail.

Anyway, the scale of measurement I favor is the one that goes from Excrement to Ecstasy, it's much easier to interpret than most scales. I won't comment on where I think anyone belongs.

BTW Phil, it's a good thing you warned Wendy (?) about your restaurant behavior instead of just subjecting her to it; you know, I can never go back to that IHOP again.

Shar

~~That was a remarkable flame, wasn't it Shar?
Actually haven't done that stunt in a long time and being on all these chemicals, I don't think I will.

Siezure,
Phil
