BTW, I was wondering, what if that kind of thing were an option here? It would be completely up to you, of course, what (if anything) you put there...

Sure, a personal profile page for denizens of PsychoBabble would be cool! Wouldn't that add a lot more work for you, though?

just thinking of your welfare,

wendy

ps: BTW, i tried to e-mail willow, and was devastated ( :-] ) to find that she doesn't have a Yahoo e-mail, or, perhaps it's hidden from view on Yahoo. either that or i'm losing my mind, i swear i had to sign up for Yahoo mail before i could get onto Psychobabble Open Chat... that's where they sent a confirmation e-mail... oh well...

At this point I've already made some internet mistakes by revealing more identity things than I would have wanted. So it's fine; I wouldn't fill it out. However, I don't like the idea because someone might come on, not anticipating how personal things can get online and it might be too late before they realize not only have they revealed something personal, but their picture is also in clear view.

Yes, I would vote for that :o)

And, regarding to the (understandable) fears of some, they could provide too much personal information about themselves ...
How about a sort of "Interview yourself"

Some given questions like:

"what`s your favourite book and why?"
"how did you find out about PB?"

you could answer all of them or simply skip to the next question or don`t answer any of them, just as you like.

Something like that would provide a *first impression* about yourself and your interests, but no personal information, which might be used against you.

What do you think?

And, any other suggestions which questions you would like to be included ? (given you like my "Interview" idea, which is, to be honest, not *my* idea, I`ve seen it on another site)

FYI, so as not to reinvent the wheel, I'm now thinking about just linking somehow to Yahoo profiles:
