I *thought* things were OK so far... Which thread did you post to? And can you forward an example of those double emails to me? Thanks,

Bob

Dear Bob,

Maybe I spoke too soon... It *seemed* as though I would get the e-mail re: a followup, I would do the double-click on the link, and it would take me to the thread *only* as far as my own message, but not list the replies. So it was behaving in a way it never had before, one I was not used to. In other words, after I post a message, the thread also includes others' posts which may have been sent after mine. Double-checking on the main 'index' page for that day, though, shows me my message that I thought had not posted properly, it's right there. If this makes any sense at all... This may also have to do with me posting twice (or more) on the same thread.
I deleted the messages that I thought were doubles, so I'll see if there are any more, maybe it's just my own perception problem (?) If I do get any more, I'll post 'em.

Thanks,
Wendy

Bob,

OK, here's another one...

http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/20010828/msgs/76701.html

I clicked on the confirm button, and it never gave me the "message added" confirmation. So I did this about 4 times, and now the whole Board must think I'm an idiot, cuz the same message to Anna is repeated several times... Arrrggghhh...

Same thing again, no "message added" for the following apology message:

http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/20010828/msgs/76707.html

Just so you know...

My guess is this is because of the changes I'm making on the server. Eventually, the thread listings should get automatically updated again.

Maybe it just hadn't given you the confirmation *yet*, because it was still working on it? :-)

Don't worry about duplicate messages, they (and apologies) get deleted sooner or later.

Bob
