I noticed you removed the poster from your board.
Do you feel such invigiliation necessary in this day and age ?

Due to the nature of the topics on this board, many of us believe that it is imperative to maintain a tone of civility that fosters a healing environment, rather than a hostile one that is possibly detrimental to some board members' mental health.

This is not a publically-funded forum. This website is owned and operated by Dr. Bob and the University of Chicago. They should have final say as to the content (and tone) of this board.

I, for one appreciate (and applaud) the efforts of Dr. Bob in keeping this site a place of learning, rather than have it deteriorate into a cesspool of vitriol and hatred, as is seen with many similar sites (IMHO).

Those who choose not follow the rules of civility, which are similar to those expected in a civilized society, do not need to post here. Posters who ridicule, harass, and abase other posters are not welcome by the vast majority of regulars contributors to this site.
