Didn't take it long. When newly released. I did take 60mg and then went down to 30 mg . I think that is when I switched to luvox?

I would think effexor would be the worst of the worst since it touches on Serotonin, norepinephrine, and Dopamine. It's more than just an SSRI (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) - it's an SSDNRI.

I took Cymbalta for a few months when it came out as well (mid/late 00s) and switched to something else. I don't remember having any w/d effects at all either.

Joe way back when new I think the doctors were pushing it as the pdoc at the time. Gave me all the pills in samples. I never once had to buy any. Personally I don't feel antidepressants work at least for me. My problem is anxiety.

Low dose valium & xanax which I still take and most like will unless the FDA decides they should be banned. The war is on now against them.

They are now already restricted to 30 day supply where before my doc would write the script for 90 days and get a 90 day supply

Joe no. Just that per government I guess that you can only have part of a 90 script filled at a time. For those that use lets say mail order that is not good. Plus it was so nice not to have to go the the drug store every 30 days as had enough for 90 days. Right now per my RN newsletters the comments from the doctors and pharmacists are that doctors need to stop using benzos. And many say they no longer prescribe them. Maybe to help a person get over a hurdle. Yesterday the same with gabepentin and the z drugs like ambien and lunesta. Those they have added black box warnings to. If I see a google search on this will post the link
