Whatcha' think about microdosing of the SSRI's and SNRI's?
With all this talk of microdosing with this & that psychedelic, why wouldn't some of the "legal" drugs be candidates for that type of strategy?

I find that this works for me with venlafaxine (Effexor). I don't typically take more than 10mg for a few days. Once the depression lifts, I can stop. Of course, most professionals would say this is bunk.

A legal drug that many people microdose is naltrexone -- low-dose naltrexone (LDN). Some people benefit from even lower doses of it -- ultra-low-dose naltrexone (ULDN).
This post is about LDN and ULDN:

There's a Facebook group about ULDN called NOPE (Non-Opiate Pain-relief Experiences).

I had good success with microdosing.
I did it with several meds - prozac, lexapro, cymbals, nortirptyline.
But the one where it really worked great was Savella. If I took just 1/8th to 1/4 of the smallest doses, it worked really well. If I took less, it didn't work at all. If I took more, it made me feel worse.
I first learned about micro-dosing psych meds from a Lyme specialist. He had great success with patients on just 1mg of lexapro, who started off with just one drop of lexapro, which is 1/10th of 1mg.
I do think doctors have a tendency to race us to high doses without trying to find our unique magic window along the journey.

I find the concept of microdosing fascinating, and not just with drugs, but with electrical stimulation.
If TMS is the microdosing version of ECT, and tDCS is the microdosing version of TMS, then Micro Current Neurofeedback and HPN (High Performance Neurofeedback) and NeuroField and LENS (Low Energy Neurofeedback System) are the microdosing versions of tDCS. Here are some sites describing these treatments.

This book gives a detailed description of how LENS works, and contains quite a few patient testimonials:
