my worst medication was strattera, at the time ... though i was taking prozac with it, and atomoxetine is a metabolite or something of fluoxetine, and those 2 combined caused me to have anxiety skyrocket, norephrinephrine was alot. That was in 2007, my mood was not good, and the increase in norephinephrine made me irrtible and aggressive. I'm still thinking that would be the same with robexetine, norepinephrine irritability.

the best med was dexamphetamine, but ... there was many downsides, such as having to deal with the wear off period, and mood shifts. It helped with mood and getting going in the mornings, but like i said i hated that crash period. It helped me do things during the day, and staying on task. Made things more interesting, and having stable thought process.

but besides that i would have to say prozac, because if i did not take prozac right now, i would be very depressed, it's like a safety net....to catch me from going into depression, waking up from a nap and not being terribly in a deep depression

The best was the muscle-relaxant baclofen, which I was taking for muscle spasms in my back. It eliminated my depression and anxiety, probably because it affects striatal dopamine levels. After a week, it started to cause terrible insomnia, so I had to quit taking it.

The worst was the benzodiazepine lorazepam. I took this for insomnia for three years, and then I developed tolerance to it and started to suffer from inter-dose withdrawal symptoms. Tapering off of it took four months and was the worst experience of my life.

Isn't it that stuff they use against alcohol addiction...!?

Yes. An interesting book about baclofen is "The End of My Addiction" by Olivier Ameisen.

Worst: Geodon - The hospital local to where I had a number of manic episodes used it as their drug of choice to shoot people up w/ and OMG would immedit give me insane unbearable akathesia. Like begging for help akathesia. Thankfully after a few visits one nurse believed me and gave me cogentine to calm the pain + put me down as alergic.

Best: I guess Marplan as it's the AD I stayed on the longest, didn't crave more of, and felt most like myself on. Of course it's unavailable again.
