I'm on 20mgs/Abilify. Its...good, I suppose, as the tranquilizers go. No EPS, no stiff gait, no major dyspohria, no TD, no akathisia. However...
do you think there might be some sort of advantage to trying out the new sons of Abilify? It'd be one thing if the generic Abilify was cheap, but...nope. The cash price at my pharmacy is pretty much the same as it was before the stuff went generic. So...
if the diagnosis is usually more on the mood end of things, TD is a concern, I'd rather not deal w/ elevated prolactin, and the other tranquilizers were just a bit too much (prone to akathisia and dysphoria, in particular), would rexulti or vryalar (probably misspelled) be worth a trial? Or...just stick with what's working reasonably well?
Thanks. :-)
