Haha. Are you one of those people who doesn't even gain weight on olanzapine? I can't recall whether you've ever taken olazapine but it just came to mind.

I was thinking the same thing about olanzapine.
What about increasing the THC/CBD ratio?

Hi Ed,
I only took olanzapine for a few months (2.5-5mg). I didn't gain any weight. Mind you, I was also on Effexor, which can suppress appetite for some.

Robert De Niro drank multiple milkshakes daily supplemented with pizza to gain weight for Raging Bull. I suppose you've tried high caloric foods.

Hey Beckett,
I try not to force feed, but I always eat when I'm hungry and try to push a wee bit more than full.
The problem is that I can't let go of healthy food.
I will eat high fat (healthy fat), but I tend to eat low sugar. I eat lots of eggs, nuts, cheese, beans, fish, fruits, vegis, some meat etc.
I'm 6-2, 120 pounds. I suppose its not really unhealty, but an extra 5-10 pounds would be welcome.

I gained about 5 pounds on remeron but no gain at all with THC or lithium. I actually lost weight on lithium because of the lowering of appetite it caused. Longterm THC users usually lose weight.
The only med I ever gained real weight on was Zyprexa - 15 pounds.

The CBD supposedly interactions with PPAR-gamma receptors which have beneficial effects on blood glucose (anti-diabetic).
Overall, my mood is doing better and my appetitie is ok. As long as I don't lose weight, I'm ok with it.
