This is what makes me think that this site is advertising (i know it's not),
I was googling lithium ororate yesterday and now this thread is started.This happens a lot, and i mean a LOT.
Can someone explain why it is?
My brother tells me that it's a phenomenon called something, i don't remember, where you see the things that you are looking for.
That ads to everything from food to commercial. If i have started brewing ginger ale at home, i will notice when my local supermarket has a sale on ginger ale.
You know what i mean?

And i think that people with psychiatric problems are more prone to put truth in those things. (damn i hate to explain things in english, it sounds dumb, but i hope you know what i mean.)

I do experience it.
I heard the phrase "elephant in the room" for the first time 2 years ago, and then it appeared everybody was using it and on commercials etc.

haha yeah, this phenomenon is very present in my life.
When i have been psychotic, then it's very very present so to say,
often to the point that i think that it's rigged.
usual Paranoia stuff..Thanks though for the name, i've been looking for it for many years.

i've read lithium increases the synthesis of serotonin, but too much lithium makes you feel dysphoric

I've learned that lithium has a very tight therapeutic range, like 0.85-1.1 in blood serum.
If it's over or under that it doesn't do any difference in mania, but i don't know if i believe that due to the fact that in countries and villages in the world where lithium is more present in the water, there are a big difference in depression just in them villages compared to the rest of the world so..It remains a mystery i think.

Thats why i take lithium orotate. When i forget it i feel bad.

Yeah i've been reading up on it and it sounds very good with ororate.

For mania (and bipolar) lithium generally needs to be within "theraputic" range.
However, it may not necessarily need to be at a particular level for depression augmentation.
I get a decent effect with 300mg-600mg. More than this, and I just feel underwater with little added benefit.
