that makes sense. I was briefly on a low dose of luvox. I took it at night, and it would make me tired, yet unable to sleep.

I'm on the non extended release 150mg/day. For me it seems to work best to take 100mg at 3pm then 50mg at bedtime around 11pm. I sleep fairly well. I've tried every imaginable dosing time and this one seems to suit me best.

do you think 200 at bed would be okay or 100 in morning and 100 in evening would be better? Do you think its different than other ssri's....why not try controlled release..its generic

200 at bedtime would give me nausea and probably insomnia. But it's possible it could work for you.100 in the morning and 100 evening will make me too sluggish throughout the day. Everyone is different. You may be able to tolerate it after a time. Best of luck!

I might be better to try the generic extended release which u take at bedtime but slowly distributes the medicine evenly through 24 hours no ups an downs......its $5.00. more on my prescription plan than immediate release....why do u think it gives you insomnia
