why would taking SAM-e (S-Adenosyl Methionine) supplements cause problems or mania to someone?
what could be wrong?problem with any of the cycles? krebs, urea, methionine, methylation, neurotransmitter, Transulfuration
deficiency of any nutrient or protein?
functioning of any hormone or endocrine organ affected?
(Methionine, cysteine, and taurine are the sulfur amino acids.)

Not sure how but it did for me many years ago before I was diagnosed BP I. Had a very extreme psychotic manic break. I wasn't on any other meds at the time but I was a heavy pot smoker (early 20s / college).
