1500mg a day would be 1.860 Eur a month. Like i said i have the support of my dad. He is excited by the idea of a natural antipsychotic.
I have no idea how much i actually need to taper off Seroquel and Zyprexa.
I will keep the metformin for a little bit until i am nice and slim :)
Needless to say, i am excited, too.

I just saw that dosages for Schizophrenia range from 700 or 800 to 1500. Thats like the max dosage that you can be on.
I dont recall where i read that.

It appears to have been equally as effective, but with much lesser side effects. That said, they dropped the dose from 800 mg/day to 600 mg/day because of adverse effects.

Unfortunately, they don't make that clear. Table 3 shows three measures that they're relating to anti-psychotic side effects, and the AP and CBD are very different. Maybe they lowered the dose of the drugs because the AP side-effects were intolerable, and they wanted to keep the two treatment arms as similar as possible?

My doc always asks about my alcohol and cannabis use. He told me THEY now think cannabinol-B which is responsible for the antidepressant effects not THC. He said nothing about boiactivity. He always says to try and get low potency cannabis (little or no bud) ĺike the hippies used to smoke (nothing against hippies!). I admit that on the rare occasion when ive grown, the plant becomes surprisingly psychoactive before the bud arrives. The leaves are quite satisfactory when theres nothing else.

You need less Antipsychotics although you are on a very low dose of Cannabidiol?

I am only taking a little less zyprexa, since starting the cbd. 2-3 1/3s of origional dose. I started taking more zyprexa, when i quit smoking pot, and cut down on perphenazine. I was on 15mg for a while. Also i was not always taking 20 mg. When i started z i was taking 10mg for years. It was not untill i had my trial of abilify, for 6 months, and stoped it. That i needed 20mg z. My dose of z goes up and down. Finally i just started taking what was neccisary. I've also discovered that z is more potent when fresh. For the first month it is really strong then i slowly need more for the next 2 months.
How is that for an explanation?
