Remeron makes my depression worse. I'm wondering if clonidine might make it better.
Clonidine more often than not produces depression, even in people without mood illness. Clonidine works to reduce blood pressure (antihypertensive) by acting as a NE alpha-2 receptor agonist - just the opposite of Remeron.
Thanks for any comments.

Remeron initially made me better but pretty quickly worse. Just like NAC.

i took clonidine just 3 years ago, it slows things down and you feel in way calmer but sometimes....it would make feel lethargic, little depressed, but i was taking .2mg twice a day
maybe like .1mg would help, they use clonodine for twitches in antipsychosis meds, slow things down that how i got put on clonidine, was zyprexa was making me jerk, they where gonna use cogentin but used clonidine
its a ok med, there's nothing special about it .... it does slow down anxiety and make you feel less edgy

Your reaction to clonidine seems typical. I was hoping that there might be a few people who had an atypical reaction that improved depression and produced more energy. I have a feeling there won't be.
