has anyone used Risperdal at 2mg for illogical thoughts and had success with no wait gain?

I take 2mgs as needed on top of my other meds. Its OK. I only take it at night. I wake up kinda fuzzy headed.

how about weight gain and does it help you with intrusive thoughts...I thimk 2mg is relatively loe....have you had your blood sugar go up at all...thanks

If you have OCD with intrusive thoughts, Risperdal is a good choice.
Risperdal raises prolactin and tends to put on belly-fat.
Risperdal can raise blood sugar, but not as much as Zyprexa.

Risperdal was mild in weight gain for me compared to Seroquel or Zyprexa.
It didnt work.

I didn't stay on it long enough to find out. It did nothing for my schizo symptoms. I was stiff as a board holucinating on the TV and my appatite was back up.
