Probiotics at what dose? 1 billion? 5? 30? 50? It will depend on whether yours is weak or strong.

That said, it is a long term proposition. You do not want to be counting days or weeks. You just start taking and keep taking until 2016. And then, think about whether you want to buy some more. Until then, just take it everyday like a vitamin and forget about it.

I do not think it is going to directly change anything psychiatric in a big way, but it will set the stage, set the road, for everything else you do to work better. Everything starts in the gut.

When someone first tried to tell me that psychiatric stuff is related to the gut I knew it was hogwash. The only problem is, as I later learned in my Lyme journeys, is that is absolutely true. The gut is like the pivot point from which everything else functions, including the brain, including the immune system. So if things aren't right in the gut, which they probably are not in most psych patients, then things are not going to be right in the head either, and no amount of meds are going to totally work until the gut is supported. That's what probiotics do.

That's great Jereon!

The MDs who treat Lyme usually urge or require patients to take probiotics at the same time. You are doing the right thing according to them.

I couldn't open Soundcloud so I couldn't hear your stuff. I am sad about that. I love hearing your music.

I wonder if you could put your music on youtube? I know some people do that by simply attaching their music to a blank video.

Rock on!

Well, it isn't really going to "kick in" or anything like that. It isn't a med that is going to "do something". It doesn't do anything actually.

What it is, are live bacteria that live in your gut. They digest food, they modulate the immune system, they do tons of good stuff. They are bacteria, but they are good bacteria. When they are messed up, so are we! Psychiatric symptoms do happen when they are messed up....brain fog, depression, tired, get sick a lot, stuff like that.

While it won't kick in, what it will do gently over time is restore your intestines to good working order. Gradually along the way you should feel better, except it will happen in such small ways over a long period of time that you not likely see or feel any change on a short term basis. Months down the road you will be able to look back and say, "Wow I've made some progress. I never really felt it, but now I can tell, my issues are a lot better than they were half a year ago." It goes like that.

Long term. Don't even think about making any judgements until 2016. It takes a long time for the body to get as sick as it gets, and it takes a long time to undo that as well.

nutrimonium is the first one i tried, and i have more energy, negative symptoms some schizo sypmtoms cleared up but not all, works also on seratonine, we all know i am a f*ck*d up case trying to get better for 10+ years now so

a male nurse and bleauberry also told me everything in the gut is linked to seratonin and some dopamine, so if that is screwed up it causes problems in the brain. :S

i also suffer from IBS from the minocycline 5th trial (it works but it's dangerous anti biotic) it causes severe problems but it works for negative symptoms 100% lol
