CBD oil - legality

Posted by Zyprexa on August 29, 2015, at 8:17:51

Is it legal in all states now. They sell it on sites like amazon and lucky vitamin. But is it legal to buy in all states? I ordered some and wonder if I should be canceling my order. I live in NC. Would they even send it if it wasn't?

you can find it at certain smoke shops, i have CBD oil....it's nothing really impressive, it does take away anxiety a little bit, but it's nothing like cannabis.....it's less psychoactive, yet ... it does act like a medicine for siezures and anxiety.......

really about like the 4th puff from it, maybe a little calm, and slightly altered but not like smoking a joint.....

you can go on google and type in CBD oil, and go to shopping.....they have it there

I believe it has been approved by the FDA as an orphan drug. You might need special permission to use it. I don't really know. It would be a good idea for you to look into the specifics of orphan drug use on the FDA site or by using a search engine. Let us know what you come up with.

For what purpose would you like CBD to serve, if you don't mind my asking?

Its still a controlled substance in those states where marijuana is illegal. The hemp oil on Amazon.com does not contain a significant amount of cannabidiol.

Here in Colorado we can get all sorts of cannabidiol products, including strains of weed that only have cannabidiol in them, carbonated beverages with cannabidiol, cannabidiol patches, etc. Cannabidiol works well as an anxiolytic and since it agonizes 5ht1a receptors it also has antidepressant qualities. Cannabidiol increases alertness so it has the unique quality of reducing anxiety but making you 'up'. As for its supposed antipsychotic benefit, I can't confirm it as I have not used it for that purpose.

I would like to see how it is different than the whole plant. See if it would cure my desigher to smoke weed when I drink some times, usually when I have not taken my whole dose of olanzapine. Basicaly I want to see what it does for my mind. Would it have some theraputic effect. Looked like it was legal now, so I wanted to try it. I'm not so sure about it now. Maybe this was all a bad idea.

I can't find any info online wheather its legal or not. Not sure what to do. The vitamin shop opens now. Should I call and cancel.

I'm even starting to wonder if I do get it, it might be fake. Read some fda stuff that said some of them are containing no CBD.

I think the cost is prohibitive though.

You need several hundred mgs if you want to replace APs...

This stuff works pretty good! Does not mix with alcohol well. Has a pleasant calming to it. Nice. Its like being high with out the hi. Last about 3 hours. Then I feel bad again. Taking 1.7mg doses. Think I will order again. Yes it is pricy. $25 for 100mg. Next time I'm going to get the 1000mg for $60, Hope it works as well. Know what else. I think this stuff gets rid of obsesive worrying. Can you drive with this stuff??

I may try it. Could it really help me get off APs quicker or replace the APs?

Is it even advisable to go quicker? Right now i reduce one step every 4 to 5 months. If i am stable enough.

Will it get cheaper in the future now that everyone is aware of Cannabis'es medical benefits?

thx

Do you have experience with, say 6-800 mg?

Not unless I smoked it. Weed got me through some tough times.

So far today I took 5mg. It really does seem to help.

Low dosage could be an option for me.

With what does it help?

Calming?

Yes its calming. Has some sedation. Suposedly CBD is used for psychosis. I'm using it in place of weed. Seems to help that some.

How would you compare the calming effect if 10 is 1mg Lorazepam and 1 is barely noticeable

I think this stuff is good for my anti social tendencies. Social anxiety. I can't use a lot. It makes me a little stupid. I've never taken lorazapam. Its not that sedating. Doesn't put me to sleep. I tried it to see what it would do. I don't know if I would call it recreational. Its just pleasant. I took it a bunch over the last 2 days, went to work today and had my best night in a long while. I don't take it during the day. Just in the evening with drinks and it helps the need for pot. I can drive on it no problems. It does not get me fucked up. Just puts me in a better state of mind. Pot would make me incapasitated depending on the level of THC. I function just fine on the CBD.

Anyways I ordered more. I think it helps.

I wonder can CBD oil be used when you're on an antidepressant? I'd assume that there are no studies on this at all which makes it a bit risky.

Even if CBD helped with anxiety a bit then it would still suck if you couldn't take any prescription psychopharmaceuticals at the same time cause of interactions.

I'm not having any bad reactions from it and ADs and APs.

Things are going pretty good!
