I've been taking Dexedrine Spanules 15 mg for a couple of months. My Dr add Wellbutrin xl 300 mg. I am curious about any side effects I may experience. If I take both in the morning will I be able to sleep as night?. Will I feel over stimulated?. Will my already dry mouth become unbearable?. Ia anyone on this combination and what is your experience?

mmmmm i used to take adderall xr with wellbutrin, wellbutrin all it does is slightly enhance some of amphetamine's actions, it's a mild stimulant in itself (antidepressant stimulant) and .... i don't i rerember wellbutrin made the crash or when adderall wore off not so bad.....
but wellbutrin can cause anxiety in some people, i took it and i noticed i couldnt take naps during the day, i tried but it kept me awake and alert......
it may work fine with the spansules.....enhace the dopamine actions on it.....

I don't know, lol. I think that's a fairly standard dose of Wellbutrin XL. I don't know what you're treating, but stimulants can make AntiDepressant drugs work better, and ADs can deal with mood issues and I think some remaining ADD/ADHD symptoms that stimulants don't cover as well.
Also...maybe the doc is Rx-ing the wellbutrin to avoid a dosage increase in the dexedrine? When I was on stimulants, a doc did something similar...Tofranil for mood issues and remaining focus issues, and that kept me from having to go up on dosage.
