Moclobemide - should I be careful about tyramine?

Taking Moclobemide 150mg twice a day.

Everything I've read online says there is no food reaction below 900mg/day

I did note twice a BP rise on it, both times in the late afternoon. Only thing I had after taking it was coffee with almond milk in it. The rise wasn't huge - sys went up to 136, but my normal sys bp is around 118. I knew something was amiss only because my vision got a bit blurry.

My doctor thinks I should be fine if I take the med 1 hr after eating.

Anyone have experience with this drug?
