Today at work almost all of our Medicaid client plans began rejecting Abilify as non-formulary with the message Generic Substitution Required for Payment.
I'm refilling in a few days and will likely fill with the new generic.
I only take 5mg, but I figured we could make a thread to discuss our experiences with the new generic.
On a low note, the generic is still very expensive. Of the claims I looked at today, most were in the realm of $750.

$750...for what, a lifetime's supply? I didn't know this med was only for the rich and famous.

The cost without insurance is exorbitant. But many medicaid plans are giving a one month override on brand name until pharmacies stock the generic aripiprazole
