I am gonna try a HUGE combo of good meds I have been on before. May move a couple around. Trintellix (Brintellix in the US), Prozac, Imipramine in huge amounts at bedtime (Nortrip has been d/c'd in Canada)Serzone/Nefazodone....because it worked awesome for me until it was banned in Canada) Abilify 10mg...maybe higher...this IS the med for me. Plus, 10mg Spansule of good old dexdedrine.in am..abd clobnazepam as per needed,
Now, I have been on meds for over 25 years, and have excellent ideas of what and doesn't work...and my doctor has faith in me. I bring him in tons of research material, articles. I have fought depression my way, and I am coming off pretty good lately. I have very very complicated/aggrivated grief over the loss of my parents within a year and a half. I have a sister who doesn't care AT ALL, and a brother who seems passive about it all. Their loss was my biggest fear for years.
Jay p.s. and a zillion other things too..lol

It is wise to be on the least amount of medication possible and at the lowest dosage of that medicine to alleviate symptoms.
What are you taking right now? What symptom is troubling you the most? If it is depression concomitant with sleep, a hypnotic AD would be my suggestion to try first imipramine. See how your depression does on that before augmenting anything else and see what specific symptoms you're expericing so your doctor will be better educated about his prescribing methodology when it comes to your case.
Good luck!
This is the end of the thread.
