I've had two sessions of ECT so far and don't feel like anything has changed. Am I expecting too much too soon? Or is it is possible that it may not work for me?

I dunno. ECT isn't as effective as the shrinks make it out to be and there's a very high relapse rate. Then again...it does work, at least for a while, with some patients.
Sorry. I don't really know what else to say. I wish you the best of luck.

when I had ECT they told me that 2 or 3 sessions wasn't enough to know whether it would work for me, or not. I felt like you did. I think they said they noticed improvement after around 6.

I suspect it's too early to come to any conclusions Teresa. I believe it usual takes several more treatments before it relieves symptoms.
