high dose of ativan

would 2.0 mg of larazepam daily be considered a high dose.
.5 am, .5 pm, 1.0 bedtime

no....that's actually below the standard dose for treating anxiety......i started ativan at 1mg in morning afternooon and night....3mg....

high doses are above 6mg.....for complicated anxiety cases

i've taken up to 7,5mg a day, now i'm on 5mg. Withdrawals are intense

i didn't, mainly insomnia and massive nightsweats

Fun when you have to swim out of bed, isn't it? Ugh. Wouldn't want to go there again. Hard work changing bedding every day too.

Not really. You can take up to 8 mg of Ativan if needed.

Very important to find the minimum dose which works though, which is usually up to 4mg per day, and rarely more than 1-2mg per dose. If it's not helping at this dose it might be best to consider other options before increasing.

It is. Everyone should find the minimum dose which works for them, but the minimum effective dose may sometimes be high.
