I'm sorry to hear this, Jeroen. It probably does make sense to refrain from taking minocycline again, given that you experienced psychosis for four hours upon seemingly withdrawing from the medication. I hope that another treatment that you might derive some benefit from will come along for you before too long.
I'm just wondering, but are "negative" symptoms such as poverty of speech, reduced goal-oriented activity, and affective flattening the symptoms that you're primarily trying to target? Or are you looking mainly to target hallucinations and delusions? (Or both?)

No need to apologize. There is no gain for us if you take it.

Hi Jeroen,
I was going to ask if you've ever tried glycine or sarcosine, as I've read that both supplements may be useful for individuals struggling with "negative" symptoms associated with schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder, but I saw in another recent post of yours that you listed glycine as one of your worst medications. With sarcosine being related to glycine, and considering that you didn't seem to respond well to glycine, maybe glycine and sarcosine wouldn't be such good options for you.
Anyway, I hope that you're doing as well as you could be doing. Take care for now.

Sarcosine is worth a shot. Glycine, for my taste is not studied enough for safety in the dosages recommended for Schizophrenia.
Sarcosine gave me moderate improvements in mood.
It also gave me restlessness, but that doesnt mean that you will get that.
This is the end of the thread.
