How depression can feel,

Posted by Willyee234 on August 7, 2014, at 18:30:46

Im at id say 80 percent remission,it took me ten years of trial and error to get there.I have a metaphor for how i feel and how depression still effects my life id like to shar.

Here goes,ok my mind is like a popular club, packed with people danging having a good time, everything is great, then in the back you have the bouncer, and he is constantly pushing in a door that has tons of a-holes (depression) out ,he does it but its a constant struggle they never stop trying.

Thats how i feel,i feel good but the threat or residue of depression is always there, with how hard i worked on my meds i truly believe i have the best there is for me,im done with med ping pong anway, its sad though i have to come to terms that chances are ill be dealing with this for the rest of my life

A older pharmcist once laid it out for me in which i thought was a straight forward no bs answer,he said "your body and mind will ger older and weaker to fight, but the depressio wont let up"

Im feeling really sorry for myself right now.

maybe just get some machine guns....and blast the intruders out....and keep the ammo loaded LOL

one thing i've realized, my depression started when i was a teen, i didnt get treated the only thing i was taking was adderall...improved the mood a bit, but like i said before, it wears off and you feel like S H I T having to take another dose to keep the washout period away....
so....do you take anything serotonin meds? reason im saying is parnate is vary good, it works i think on dopamine, slightly similar to amphetamine but it has it's side effects....

but serotonin meds ...it makes you feel more sereine like everything is gonna be alright feeling.....prozac is the best i've taken out of the SSRI class....i take 60mg

there is buspar...which is for anxiety but it increases sero too...

maybe when start feeling like this, it's like a cloud of fog....that comes over, maybe have coffee, red bull, but psychologically try to focus on getting faster thoughts, depression is 1 slow depressing thoughts, fast depression is usally causes irrtiblity and feeling like sh*t but high strung, that's why xanax helps with anxiety depression

try to focus the grey gloom that comes on and distract the mind from being pulled down into the pits....and i need to do that myself, just as im writing this, im worrying still about things that make me in bad moods.....

hang in there...:)

Thanks.

@23 when I first experienced a panic attack. Over 40 years ago and I haven't forgotten the shear madness of it. I started my cocktail of trial and error and it took @10 years to find one.

I always knew I'm on borrowed time as the problem has never been "repaired". At times I can feel the blackness wanting back in control. I cry out of fear sometimes.

The ammunition hasn't changed much in my 40 yrs' Still studying the same neurotransmitters.

I remember when I was happy and deep down know my disc has been erased. Depression: No one can write a book, explain it, or understand it unless they've been in the grasp of it..........
