I took a Sonata in the middle of the night for the first time and while it did help me get back to sleep, I was more depressed today than I have been in months. Has anyone else experienced Sonata induced depression or is this just a fluke?

I think any GABA drug can dampen mood, in some people.

I use sonata occasionally. Definite hangover in my case and a lowering of mood, though not drastically. My mood and functioning are comparatively worse with sleep deprivation.
