back on effexor + remeron

Posted by linkadge on July 13, 2014, at 16:37:19

I switched about 6 months ago to remeron + fluvoxamine (from remeron + effexor). This improved certain things (namely the feeling of being 'detached'). However, the fluvoxamine was making me very tired during the day, so I asked my doctor to switch back to effexor.

So, I am currently on

remeron 7.5mg + effexor 37.5mg + ritalin 10mg.

I know these are low doses of each, but it seems to help. I am going through a bad episode right now. I always get bad in the summer.

Effexor and remeron are California Rocket Fuel correct? Hang in there. Hopefully the tiredness passes and you can increase the doses.

Summer is the worst time for me. Counterintuitive.

Summer episodes are harder for me to deal with than winter depression. It's bright and light out all the time, social connections want to see me more, and I feel "gross" that I'm cooped up inside when I should be going on a long hike or something and enjoying life
