Hi, anyone have any experience with these? 2mg morning an night started in hospital 8 days ago, and 150MG Wellbutrin SR in morning, switched to XL recently.
I have read that Wellbutrin increases the effect of perphenazine. I have been having decreased appetite during the day, but suddenly hungry in the evening, and was wondering if it is because the trilafon is causing it, and is wearing off.
I'm on leave from work, and am worried that the aphasia and inertia I am having, and indecisiveness, will not go away.
Thank you.

wellbutrin typically supresses appetite, while perphenazine typically increases it.
You could lower the perhenazine (unless it is an essential med)

Do you mean time released wellbutrin? Yeah, I don't know if its designed to release mostly during the day or constantly through the night as well.
Not sure what do say. Is appetite the only issue?

I take both, plus zyprexa and zoloft. I don't find perphenazine to do anything with my appatite. There was a time I took wellbutrin sr and it would increase appatite a few hours after taking it, I would get dizzy and felt low blood sugars. So I would eat lunch and get better. I don't take as much wellbutrin now and don't have that problem any longer. I naturaly have low appatite and need zyprexa to inhibite it. Luckily for me.

That IS lucky! The wellbutrin I think is what's taking away my appetite, I've been eating nothing but a cup of coffee, then a small meal of carbs and a bit of protein at about 6PM.
This is the end of the thread.
