Hello,
I am switching from prozac 25mg to nardil and was wondering how long I should wait after taking the prozac to initiate nardil treatment. I contacted a pharmacy tech and he said wait 10-12 days before I start nardil. I read only that you should wait up to 4-5 weeks. Why is there conflicting information on this. I have been on prozac for about a month.

Prozac has a long half life and takes weeks to leave ones system. Better check with your doc. Phillipa

Definitely not 10-12 days, the tech generalized Prozac to the other SSRIs for which he was right; for Prozac rather you do have to wait 4-5 weeks due to the really long half life
