I was on it for about six months a couple of years ago, I had some response to it but not enough to stay on it. I didn't have any side effects that I can remember.

I experienced a partial response for about a week.

What about Brintellix (vortioxetine)? On paper, it looks like a supercharged Viibryd.

I was on it for about eight months when it first came out and experienced nothing from it. However, on Brintillex now (30mg/day) for two months, and it's giving me some relief my depression and physical anxiety symptoms (with few side effects). I'd give it a rating of 4 out of 10, but much better than my 0 out of 10 with Viibryd.

I'm transitioning from Brintellix to Viibryd. Brintellix was great from anxiety but made me apathetic and anhedonic. Hoping Viibryd will be a little less heavy handed.

Good luck with that. I'm always tempted to go back and try things again. Since I cannot afford Brinttellix (and feel like I am annoying my psychiatrist by asking for, like 10 sample bottles each time I go in), perhaps I will try Viibryd again. But when I was on it, it was just like nothing. Good luck.

What a shame new meds and expensive and sounds like nothing has changed results wise. What are they missing when the meds are developed? Phillipa
