Had forgotten that he doesn't prescribe stims with MAOIs under any circumstances. F**k. I have been having to act as my mom's brain and my own and substituting with unhealthy amounts of caffeine and nicotine.
Hope KP.org lets me switch without much stress. I have enough of that.
Depression hit a relative (but not emergency) low when, once monthly, I seem to get very quiet and teary for a few days when I realize no matter what I do, my mom is going to DIE...

I don't know what is going on here other then something with Kaiser and your mom dying. I have Kaiser and I see a psych Dr. there and I didn't like the psych nurse who was willing to prescribe me pretty much what I wanted as is the psych Dr. that is more willing to help but not sure what your question was but ask for someone else if you can.
As for your mom , I am so very sorry for what you are going through. I send you healing prayers and prayers of comfort to you and a big HUG as well. Above all else take care of yourself to be there for your mom. We just went through this with my mother in law. We were her main care givers for over a year with very little to no help and it was so stressful at times but I will tell you in hindsight I would give anything to have her back here even if it was to go through it all all over again...I will never forget her and I miss her so much!
Take care of yourself and do what ever you need to do especially at this time to take care of yourself.
