It helps me against suicidal thinking.

I dont think its a coincidence that i left the locked ward as soon as i went on lithium orotate.

Wether it helps against mania? I wouldnt know, but my bet would be no.

lithium orotate's safety remains in question. There have been numerous case reports of patients requiring medical attention after taking lithium orotate supplements. A 1979 study found that its use may in fact be harmful to kidney function compared to lithium carbonate. There are no systematic reviews supporting the efficacy of lithium orotate and it is not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of any medical condition.

Yes, it would be more harmful if the dose of lithium was the same.
I take it and my kidney is just fine.

Nothing is more harmful than suicide or being suicidal all life long.

I thought that lithium stays lithium and lithium orotate is just more potent which is nullified by the low dosage.

If you can prove me wrong, please go ahead.

I cant speak for a low dose of Lithium Carbonate beating suicide thoughts although i guess it could be expected at dosages below therapeutic level.

There is a study on lithium in drinking water. (Very low doses)

While lithium orotate is capable of providing lithium to the body, like lithium carbonate and other lithium salts, there are no systematic reviews supporting the efficacy of lithium orotate plus lithium orotate's safety remains in question. There have been numerous case reports of patients requiring medical attention after taking lithium orotate supplements.
