i was very 'anxious' today, didn't know what to do.
finally about 1:30 my pdoc called and said i could take a saphris 'now' and one tonight.
i took one and its now about 4:30.... and i'm not sure how to describe this.
but i keep thinking of death.i actually feel like kinda 'happy'? yet i keep thinking of suicide.
i'm not sure how to even explain this...but its weird that i feel kinda 'bright' and cheery, but i'm leaning towards death.
i have no desire to kill myself. but i'm thinking of it.
?? is it that maybe the saphris is not working? or could it be the saphris doing this??
any suggestions/

Same thing happened to me when took Klonopin. I had been taking Xanax. The pdoc after calling him immediately took me off Klonopin and put me back on Xanax. I felt fine as soon as took the Xanax. Your post reminds of how I felt suicidal but wasn't suicidal if makes any sense? Phillipa

I know it's late, but as Phillipa said, it sounds like an adverse reaction. Can you contact your doctor out of hours?
Please stay safe.

Hi b2c
I'm pretty sure that Saphris precipitated a hypomanic episode followed by a serious depression. Didn't make the connection then. That's just my experience. But I slept like the dead. I miss that.
I haven't been around for awhile. You were taking zyprexa. Did it stop working well? It remember it as your go-to.
